Mariana Hermosillo was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she has lived all her life. Since she was a child, she has always liked drawing and painting, as well as telling stories. She graduated in 2020 from UNIVA (Universidad del Valle de Atemajac) with a Bachelor Degree in Animation, Digital Art, and Multimedia. Moreover, she completed a Continuing studies Diploma in 2D Animation and Digital Art at Langara College (Vancouver, BC, Canada) in 2022.
Mariana worked as a 2D Animator, Director and, Producer in the short film The Moon’s Letter. Additionally, she has participated in different independent illustration projects, and in the animated web series Origen creating backgrounds. She also was an animator in the short film A Helping Hand (2020), a story about friendship and respect for nature.
She is oriented towards 2D animation and illustration.

MARIANA HERMOSILLO nació en Guadalajara, México, donde ha vivido toda su vida. Desde niña siempre le gustó el dibujo y la pintura, así como contar historias. Se graduó en 2020 de la carrera de Animación, Arte Digital y Multimedia en la Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA). Mariana trabajó como Animadora 2D, Directora y Productora en el cortometraje The Moon’s Letter (La carta de la Luna). Ha trabajado en distintos proyectos independientes de ilustración así como en la web serie animada Origen realizando fondos. Así mismo, participó como animadora en el cortometraje A Helping Hand (2020), una historia de amistad y respeto por la naturaleza.
Está orientada a la animación 2D y la ilustración.
